The front wheels on my X3 looked worse than that the first time I pulled them off to clean and coat. Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener diluted to the necessary strength (it’s a concentrate) made very quick work of 95% of the embedded stains.

Yeah, I guess most off-the-shelf spray-on wheel cleaners aren't quite gonna cut it for something like this. I'll keep that product in mind for the future, but to be honest I'm thinking I'll actually leave my winter/track rims dirty. They're not in the greatest condition to start and are only going to be further showered in brake dust during events. Don't want to have to have a maintenance regimen for two sets of rims - street setup will be maintained for sure since they are on the car 90% of the time, and were coated from day 1

Massive shout out to Botond and Charlie for their help on M3 mirrors installation that happened on Saturday. I had M3 mirrors seating in my garage for 2 years. In March I finally decided to proceed, paint them and installed. I was very uncomfortable with drilling and modifying the doors of my car. With Charlie and Botond help, the project is completed and my touring is looking mad right now.
I took Charlie's advice and painted the mirror base plates in glossy black to match the shadow line trim. Results are amazing.
There was plenty if pictures uploaded by Charlie already, but I've added a few more below. That is how my car looked on Sunday morning.
In addition, we had a blast messing around on Saturday and that is one of my first attempts to start socializing again after COVID-19.

We took our time and got the mirrors mounted after several test fittings and adjustments at Charrie’s garage...

Passenger side mounted solidly and looking great!

Sergy is now working on the driver’s side

    Botond supervising

Everyone checking out Sergy’s progress Alla verifying the work is being done right

Chipped in is incorrect word here. I would say that I took entire Saturday away from you and Botond.
Thanks for uploading the pictures, they are great! Fun times for sure and I hope we can do something togher soon.
Charlie, what's our chances to make Botond do some detailing on his car while we will be working on our cars? Is he gonna hate us?

Looks amazing. Agreed on the glossy black baseplates—I think BMW really goofed by giving the M3s the body colored baseplates.
