Finally back on the road again; installed a BMW Remanufactured alternator today. Looking at my LOG this probably crapped out on me in the late March, early April time frame. It’s been a busy summer with family visits so, it’s been on the back burner.

Worked on removing the transmission to do a clutch job today. Chickened out dropping the transmission with the cheapo HF 450lb transmission jack; going back to the store tomorrow to get their bigger 800lb one that I'm more familiar with using. Trans is currently held on by two bolts I already broke loose and the starter is free, so it's going to be easy work to finish the job.
These 6-speeds are big in the transmission tunnel! Used every extension configuration I had to get the job done. Had to break all the E14 bolts loose by hand since there was too much flex in the extensions for my impact to work; no issues with the E12 bolts with the impact though. Retorquing everything will be based on how much patience I have...
