I hope they aren't going to try and charge you for all that fluid being flushed.

I figured out my sticky coupe door opening. Opened up the inside of the door to peak inside and learn how the door mechanism works because it's hard to tell from just pictures. See how that adjustment bolt works was nice to understand.

Did some lubing up of the actuator from the inside and also learned ultimately the main stick is from a worn door latch!! Because of all the force and friction, the inside of the latch where the part on the door that's grabbing the latch is a bit raw and not chrome shiny. It's a bit rusted so I did some cleaning up and lubricating.

Then I cleaned out the actuator and lubricated that. Make sure the inside where it holds the door latch is lubricated too.

Now the door opens nice and easily.

There is also a door adjustment screw that helped me.

Wonderful post. Thank you! I replaced shot rear shocks-first serious wrenching I've done in literally decades. Hoping I did OK.

Yep I adjusted that. But that wasn't the problem. The main problem is the door striker is probably off a little. So I'll adjust that next to get it so the actuator doesn't rub so hard against the striker when the door is closed. But maybe I just need new strikers. I'll play around more.
