    255mm is the max width for 8.5 inch wheels. Per the site below, at the maximum width the tire tread is wider than the inside rim bead. I don't know what that means exactly, but it doesn't seem like it would work out.

    Sold the wife's X5 yesterday. We are officially BMW-less . It was an interesting buying experience. Someone came and paid cash for the vehicle. Straight-up huge stack of bills.
