New headlights installed. Goodbye DEPO garbage. Seriously the way DEPOs are wired annoys the snot out of me. Hello new headlights with CFL halos. It's nice to have functional halos again.

It wasn't supposed to snow today. It started halfway through the installation. Oh well. I'll grab some proper pics next week. Too cold outside to do anything else right now. With the headlights done, the rear window trimming is next. And, once it warms up, the carbon trunk refinish and wheel wrap will be completed. Yaaay. Progress!

New battery today - not bad that the OEM lasted for 8+ years. Went with H7 AGM and fits perfect in the convertible.

Good choice going with the AGM. I just replaced one that was factory also from 2010.

The e90 got a full detail for $120. This was done:

    1. Engine
    2. Trunk
    3. Shampoo on carpet and mats
    4. Conditioner on seats
    5. Wax
    6. Armorall on tires

They also left inside 2 small patches that smell nice. Very happy with the results. It's a small business (5 employees) who serves several car dealers.

I’m intrigued by the “smell nice patches.” What do they smell like, and where were they placed?
