We need to be able to repurpose the SAP to be a powerful in-car vacuum cleaner.

Seriously, it'd be a heck of a lot more useful! Such an over-engineered system. Has its own little air intake system with filter and MAF... wtf lol

Definitely have to share. I picked up my car from the shop on Friday from having the front sway bar, rear subframe and RTAB mounts reinforced. While they were in there I had them swap my subframe carrier with the one I refurbished and repainted: 80A diff bushings and 95A subframe bushings, put in a 5-clutch 3.15 LSD and poly shifter mount bushings.

Wow! I feel like I have a brand new car. I like the mild race car vibe of the very light diff whine, but the clutches are loud. I will have to wait to see if it gets complaints from either my mom or my friend that daily's a Civic - that's the acid test. The goal is to be a top-performing yet comfortable daily. Still in my list is my F80 brakes and I have now been investing in my keyless entry swap.

I have two E9x handles, an E46 handle bracket and am deciding what to buy next without spending foolishly. Did you know E9x, E82/7 (and tons more) and F3x all use the same door handle? Did you know the door handle body mold is the same from E46 to F3x? Me either! Will keep people posted for push-start and keyless entry. Once I'm done, the DIY will be very easy.

GL with your project. Comfort Access is really cool, my F30 has it. My only complaint is that BMW only has the CA sensors on the front doors. I have seen other brands (like MB) which have the sensors on all the 4 doors.

Definitely jealous of the LSD! I should've gotten my RTAB pockets stitch-welded when I had the RACP reinforced. Oh well, not a big deal.

Yeah interesting about the door handle body mold! Initial thoughts were it would look out of place - I was thinking the handle would be quite sharp and angular but looking it up, it's not that much different to ours.

I knew it would be similar!! This should open the door to some nice mods in the future.

Just finally snagged a new interior for the car. Anyone have any recommendations on sound deadening or creak/rattle muting while I’m removing the old seats and door panels? I’ve always wanted to see if there was anything I can do to kinda mute the creaks/rattles. Should I do some new insulation?

    Thanks all

I recommend resonix products. They’ve been tested to be one of the best on the market.

If you want to reduce creaks and rattles, you’ll need a closed cell foam type product.

Interesting. Quite a lot of good info on their website. Gotta do a bit more research. Is this something a novice can potentially install? Resonance and rattling, as he describes it, is exactly what I’d like to soften a little bit if it’s possible.

Damn Trev you went pretty low right off the bat huh?

That's interesting about the difference between the two oil temps - thanks for sharing! I just got a gauge from zada tech and may actually install it by the end of the year cuz I'm pumped to finally see the damn oil temp on this car.
