I ordered a new ///M Dead Pedal and BMW front car seat covers for my ZHP. The factory dead pedal is cracked so it is one of many things needing replacement in my ZHP...

Next payday I will get new Weathertech floor liners and Trunk liner for my ZHP

I’m having fun setting my ZHP up for daily driving duties...

Fixed the burnt zkw bowls problem with Morimoto 5.0s from The Retrofit Source

    The Good:
<$200.00 fix, looks very similar to stock when finished, and I can freaking see again!

    The Bad:
They Call it the RETRO-QUIK: BMW E46 / ZKW HEADLIGHT REPAIR KIT... But do NOT be fooled. –It is not a kit! No instructions, random unnecessary parts included (just to confuse?), requires irreversible modification (grinding away plastic with a dremel grinder), clipping and soldering high-beam lead, and use of epoxy that will make it very difficult to remove shrouds again.

A real pita, but happy with results and happy it is done.

^ that new steering wheel and dead pedal looks great. So fresh. That leather probably has that fresh leather smell, too.

As for my car, a little maintenance @115k:
    - Oil change (Mann filter, Castrol Edge 0w-40, and 1/3 can of Ceratec)
    - Mann air filter
    - Cabin air filter
    - Changed the vacuum hose from the m56 valve cover.
    - Osram D2S bulbs for headlamps
    - Polished the headlamp lenses (400 grit, 800 grit, 1500 grit, then rubbing compound), then a cost of clear paint.

The light output was greatly improved, especially after polishing the lenses. Feels good to be able to see at night again. The old bulbs and the pitted lens was like trying to see with cataracts and a single candle at night.

I couldn't agree more about having the M dead pedal The steering wheel came from an M3. I switch between leather and alcantara steering wheels in my ZHP. Leather for the winter months and alcantara for warmer months...

Thanks Will! I cleaned and conditioned the leather on my steering wheel using Leatherique. It did a great job and absorbed the Leatherique as well. It now feels great when holding on to it.

Regarding your car, looks like you got a lot done! It is always nice to have excellent light output from your headlights Excellent progress!
