Got new tires installed on the ZHP today. Also got all the parts I need for new FCABS (Z4M), window trimming, and a wheel repair kit. Eventually I'm going to sand down, repair, and refinish these very tired 135s. All in good time.

On another note. The ZHP/Stealth T comparison is up in the Off Topic forums! Sorry about the delay. I finished the write up for a buddies paper and had to tailor it a bit for the forum. Hope you guys enjoy it.

So close! It’s got an M54 instead. So the one with better steering and nicer handling.

what year was the e39? did you use the standard PASoft cable in the OBD port or did you have to use an adapter cable for the pacman hook up under the hood?

i have a friend that has an e39 and he updated to the euro LED tails but i cuoldnt figure out how to code hsi LCM for it.

PASoft didnt help. i could read with PASoft but none of the options helped with the cluster warning lights from the LED Tails.

i tried using NCS Expert but couldn't even connect with my laptop and cable in his car yet it works just fine in mine. kept getting some form of COAPi error.

Try changing LED_RUECKLICHT_OPTION in the light module to aktiv using NCS Expert.

EDIT: Oh sorry, forgot that you can't connect to it. What year is his car? If it's pre-2001 then you'll probably need the ACS adapter that connects to the round plug under the hood. Then again, it must be pre-2001 since he did a retrofit and 2001+ had the facelift lights.

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

For the first time in my ownership my 02 has every single piece of trim (never had the under dash covers when I bought it) installed. Only thing not installed inside is the clock I removed the other day to get it repaired.
