Took it to the dealer to have the recall done for both front airbags and the taillight recall.

The GFs clubman S has been down waiting for a coolant temperature sensor and a bypass module for the passenger side occupancy mat ($1600 from the dealer for a new mat, NO THANKS) so she’s been driving the T4R TRDP and I pulled the ZHP out for my off days. Washed and vacuumed it out this afternoon and heading back to storage this evening.

When I had my 2005 Mini Cooper the dealer replaced the passenger side occupancy mat for free, under a recall.

Her car is outside the “time” criteria for free replacement. Her car is a 2009 with 55k miles on it. So stupid.

Been working on a relatives 325i.

Did a full cooling system refresh including the radiator. Also converted the car to an electric fan vs the factory mechanical unit. All that is left is to check the coolant level and put the intake back on.

Then pulled the rear diff to clean it, reseal the cover which is leaking really bad and replace the output shaft seals.

Diff bushings are original but in good shape so not worried about replacing them. Guess the 325i auto doesn't put alot of stress on them.
