What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

I replaced my fuel pump with a Walbro 450lph and it died today, 3 weeks later. Got a buddy doing about 100 miles to bring me a used one to keep me moving. My driveway is up a hill, so can’t even really tow

Got the red battery light warning for about 30 seconds. Just in time for winter hibernation. Guess the alternator has had enough.

Had that - it is a small chance you're taking if you do so but good chance it's the voltage regulator, you save a bunch since you don't have to replace the whole thing

Actually, neither do I but, it’s a bit cool in the forecast and the holiday is approaching. That said, it’s just in for a little nap.

Messed up my sideskirt. Parked far away at Costco up to a corner spot on the passenger's side, and didn't pull far enough forward before turning the wheel when leaving. I blame the cold I have for this.

Ultimately I don't think it's worth bringing to get new paintwork done since it's so low and touch-up did an okay job, but god damn.

Bummer. I did the same thing before. Luckily the tire got the hit. Good job with the touch-up paint.
