Yeh, the bike’s been around for 20 years. Bought it when I was working at a GM facility 50 miles from home. I don’t ride it any longer and will market it once this COVID and social uproar calms down.

Update to the hit and run on my car on June 29th.

The cops called me today and the lady admitted to hitting my car. She is in her 60’s and said she was scared and drove off. She wanted the officer to tell me she was sorry. They gave me all the insurance information, and I contacted her insurance company. I told them the shop my car was getting repaired at, and they immediately sent over the direct billing information.

The shop took pictures for the insurance company, and they ordered an entire new mirror assembly. Once parts come in they will contact me and I will drop the car off to have the mirror replaced.

I can’t believe I found the car that hit mine, and that she admitted to it.

Can’t wait to get the new mirror!

Wow, that's some $$$. I had my passenger's mirror replaced when I had my first accident and that whole assembly was something like $800. Not sure if you have had any paint damage from the mirror possibly flinging around, but make sure they fix that as well!

Luckily nothing flung around but the whole thing needs replaced. It’s not going to be cheap. I think around $650 for everything.

Glad you found it. BTW, 60s is not old, no excuse. Most everyone gets scared if they hit a car. A - you don't drive off. B - if you do, you come to your senses and go back. If you don't, you figure you got away with it. I hope you encouraged the police to ticket her with fleeing the scene.
