Installed a backup cam today. To be honest, I'm not sure if the added convenience is worth the eyesore. Literally just added a pimple to the back of my car:

Just a thought, but you could get a thing of touch-up paint and paint the black lens cover Mystic instead. It wouldn’t totally hide it, but it would make the pimple less noticeable.

Helped a my best bimmer friend get this thing freshener up over the past week, mind you... this was in a field the prior 10 years, without drivetrain.
Always good to give a friendly help, esp when your 318is is next.
