"There is a straight six engine at the front, a manual gear box in the middle, and drive goes to the back. That's page one, chapter one from the petrolsexual handbook." - Jeremy Clarkson
A friend came over and noticed something I had learned to ignore: my hood was not flush with the fenders, but lower. We found the little plastic screws that control hood height and adjusted accordingly. What we didn’t realize was we opened up a can of worms which led to me having to readjust my hood locks, only to realize that the hood latch support on my car is missing the plastic tabs that keep the hood latch from poking out of the grille (if any of that makes sense).
Long story short: my hood is nicely flush with the fenders and I ghetto rigged a fix for the hood latch.

My project thread ---> http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showt...into-a-reality
I spent half a day making this trunk tool holder thing, instead of the studying that I was supposed to be doing
I don't have my E46 so I can't test it. But this shit always falls off my CSL trunk. Pisses me off. I figured I would work on getting the threads and basic shape done. Then when I get my car back, or visit JR, try it out then. The groove for the original piece was too small, so the fix was to just make it larger lol The other problem I have is figuring out how to print it sideways. Right now it's printed down, faster, but seems like it could break easily. Printing it sideways will require supports, but iono how TF I'm going to remove the middle portion.
edit:
I tried to print it sideways just now. Nope, can't remove the support in the middle. Ended up breaking it.

Went to the dealer and got my air bag recall completed. 90 minutes in and out, and not a sole in the place.........
