Oh yeah, I also did to something to the car last night.....

It's now a low 12/high 11 second grocery-getter if Safeway was exactly 1/4 mile from me. If stock was already pretty crazy, I don't even have words to describe what has happened now. What I'm more amazed is how the E90 suspension geometry helps just 255 wide DWS06 tires hook-up from a dig to put down nearly 600ft-lbs of torque in freezing ambient temps. #SleeperStatus

600 ft-lbs torque is insane and that's the one thing I like about the newer turbocharged E9X. I love our old E46s but man it's hard to make good power without spending $$$ going FI or doing an engine swap

Keep that beauty of yours for as long as you can. I will love my ZHP for as long as my brain will remember. It's the car that allowed me to meet all of you online and become part of a community online and offline. It taught me what I can and cannot do with that car, to never be afraid of maintaining and DIYs, to further my understanding of how a car works with all its bits and pieces. The E46M does the same thing too and my E90D will continue that journey.

A turbocharger is just a means to free power that an ICE outputs as long as nothing blows up in the process. LOL. The stock M57 turbos are tuned to a max of 27 psi but I'm now running a conservative 32-34 psi max. Some of crazier tunes will pump out 42 psi which is totally bonkers. I don't feel the need to irk out every last drop but this is enough to be a great all round daily beater with 390 hp. It should easily take an E9x M3 (at least in the first mile) but I'm not out to grim reaper it because I just love the diesel for what it is. Big power with highway MPG in the high-30s.

I mean a E46 330d can make some crazy power pretty easy too. And they are legal in moose land now...

That's the plan! And don't ever sell that M3 of yours, Estoril is my favourite colour on both the E36 and E46 and it's so rare to find a clean one.
