That's the main reason I'm not too keen on taking my mirrors completely apart to swap out mirror housings.... it would be just my luck tearing a ribbon cable and then having to purchase a new motor just to reroute the ribbon connector. I would love to meet the engineer who came up with this solution so I can tell him what I think about his design (thumbsdown)....Originally Posted by Pip

Nothing is perfect and paint can have defects too but yea it sucks to have take them apart again. Just make sure you get them from a good source like Turner. I'm sure if I got these from eBay, I wouldn't be getting a new pair 9 months later.
