Definitely should set up a project/maintenance thread, Blake. Nice work. Rear diff bushings seem like a serious job, thankfully I won't have to tackle them for awhile.

Plus one. Wow. Great job. The two front bushes defeated me but I did the main rear culprit. Glad you were able to get that bolt out!

As for me it was TSX (2008) day:
Car wash and Pinnacle Souverän spray wax, new wiper blades, tensioner pulley, belt and spark plugs. She's on the cusp of 100k mi and now she's ready!

Just took the new diff bushings for a test drive...and the driveline "clunk" on and off acceleration is finely gone!!!!!!!!! Feel like doing a dance. The AKG black bushings feel great. No increase in vibration, very direct power on/off feel, very slight increase in gear noise (can't hear it at all when on throttle, just when coasting). And the new Koni's in the rear are a welcome improvement. Those stock 97k mile shocks were shot.

Nice to know all of the changes had positive improvement! I have intermittent clunk from the rear and I have yet to pinpoint the cause. My mechanic had some sound device hooked up and couldn't locate it on the diff bushings, so who knows. Were your shocks original? Mine were shot by 50k.

Good to know about the bushings, I hate the way the drivetrain feels squishy when shifting hard...

My clunk turned out to be the RSM

Had to replace the Steering Rack, ball joints and all four tires. Full disclosure I just paid for the parts and labor.
