    even today they are much better after sitting in them and they have "dried" out more. not dry as in cardboard but MATTE finish dry but still much softer than before. the seats are nice, firm but dont feel like they are going to break at the stitches.

    There's a diy somewhere on the forum, but you insert evenly spaced medium sized balloons thru the mesh and then inflate. I used 3 balloons from a ten pack that I bought at a dollar store. Used my bike pump with nozzle fitting to blow up the balloon then tied off outside the mesh. Once inflated, the balloons are wedged in there and prevent the dip from settling on anything you don't want sprayed. Once done painting, I used needle nose pliers to grab hold of the balloon, punctured the balloon and then pulled back thru the mesh. Pretty simple.

    Good to hear. I think they will keep getting better. Don't give up on them. Another treatment in the summer sun should help too

    Looks great BP! I remember when my wheel still had the leather grain on it... It's mostly worn off now
