    For me the stop eliminates a lot of the empty travel below the (dis)engaging point. My last car's clutch took up really low, which I'm sure has a lot to do with why I felt so inconsistent in this car.

    I have a full set of brand new titan trim in my newly purchased touring that I'm ready to rip out. The exterior is titanium silver and I hate hate hate having interior trim the same color.

    Yes. Have one on my 325Ci and installing one on my ZHP as well. It's absolutely not needed, but once you get used to the feel/timing with the clutch stop, it's difficult to not have it.
