Wheel scrubbing on the 'Vert and then a few highway on-ramp 3rd gear redline pops to "dry the wheels" and because the primer driver (Mrs. Wisco) drives the car like a grandma :-)

Lol I saw that thing on sale and could not wrap my head around it. What's it like? Big plastic golf ball?

    It's actually rubber. lol
I wanted to try it because I was started to feel about my shift knob the way I felt about my alcantara interior when I still had it. I was started to get really paranoid about wear on the leather shift knob. The F80 M3 shift knob is less than 2 years old but already has that terrible "matte" patina on it that I oh so hate. It was expensive as hell... $160 + shipping.

I thought the motorsport knob was plastic, which is why I borrowed it from Derek. I was really surprised to find that it's rubber. It feels pretty nice to shift with, but I just know that being rubber, it's going to wear pretty badly as well. Oh well...

Wonderful. Well I've been used to moderate to high humidity in Vancouver with daytime temps of 95°. So what's another 10 more?

M3 dead pedal arrived and installed today. It wasn't quite as clean as the seller and his pictures led me to believe, but for $35 I'm not complaining.

How do you like them? I've been eyeing some steel and rubber pedal sets, but they're not exactly a necessity.
