Haha yeah it was one of the cars in the lot that we pulled the diffs from. Raining right on the valve train for who knows how long.

That's all assuming you can get parking and even get in the door. Capacity is TINY.

Our LKQ gets really muddy, but they usually have more 330s come through (whereas Pull-a-Part seems to have mainly 325s when they actually have E46s). It’s a great resource since they’re both within 30 minutes of my house, but parts availability is obviously pot-luck. We went to PaP this time because it said they had a 330, but when we got there it was a 330xi. Again, pot-luck.

I used to love junk yard hunting! A bunch of us used to sneak in though the back on Sundays... sometimes we'd run into other dudes from school doing the same thing lol. we'd be walking through the woods with transmissions diffs... anything we could carry... this yard was basically 25 acres of fields full of cars... lots of mud, cars precariously teetering on whatever someone could find to hold the car up , wasp nests, fluids leaking into the dirt... good times!

I once found a set of ultra rare Ford 351 Cleveland 4 bbl heads... got em for $100!

Years and years ago, I ran a towing operation for a large body shop chain. During that time, I had many cars that I owned for a short time. I’d part out the stuff that I could market quick. Then scrap the rest.

I was always in and out of the yards and was able to make some screaming deals. One was my 68 Mustang coupe with a 289. My original investment was only $15.00. Another was the 67 impala I picked up with a 327 4 speed. That drivetrain emended up in a 64 corvette that a friend was restoring.
