yeah...I personally dont like it. part of the reason I returned the ones I bought. That and they seemed flimsy. I have decided to autoflex my originals. There's a guy like 50 miles away from me that will do it for $30. I think I will just mail them to him around the 4th of july, as I will be out of town anyway.

also topped up oil. since switching to Shell Rotella 5w-40 Diesel oil, the consumption is not as bad, about one quart so far in about 1700 miles.
My AC isnt working either. UV dye wouldn't show where the leak is, because the expansion valve and/or drier is clogged i think, and freon is not moving through the system. Shop used a sniffer and found leak at condenser and one of the hose fittings. So I bought new set of O-rings, expansion valve, drier and condenser, all together for ~$145. That'll be a fun project when all the parts get in.

    pretty much

stood there shaking the can, then sticking my hand in front of the passenger vent to see if it's cold yet

never saw a difference on the pressure gauge so it makes sense that people overfill these things and wreak havoc

Congrats Anando. We are close to buying a house sans garage. My wife knows it’s a priority for me so we are getting a quote to have one added in the back yard. (I’m a bit worried about setbacks and/or easement).
