It will fit. You have to flatten out the ends a bit. I drilled new holes for it too (where it mounts on the trans). Not only is the diameter of the pipes bigger, the aren't as close together as the stock ones. Make sure you put anti seize on that long bolt

Not today, but a couple weeks ago I finally got around to a shifter rebuild and replaced the drive shaft guibo. Together, these actually made a huge difference in the driving experience of the car. The gearbox feels new and power delivery is noticeably smoother. A very worth-while use of around $80!! Here's the link to the details on this job

finally replaced the PO's brake pads. Plenty of meat on them, but I was tired of washing the wheels every 2 days. Akebono's, same as I've been running on my 745i for years. Now I can enjoy these new 135's.

Why'd that put the right rear wear sensor right above the jack pad? They could have put that anywhere. Like in the wheel well - same as the front which was so easy to change. I could barely get my hand in their with the floor jack on the pad....

Also installed the bluetooth GROM-BT3 in the trunk yesterday. Music sounds great to my old ears. Haven't tried the phone with the top down yet

Put the street pads back on and bleed brake fluid. Old fluid still looked clean after 4 years

Took the ZHP on a long drive to test out the alignment, stretch her legs, and retrieve my Porter Cable polisher from storage. The extra camber up front feels great in the corners, but I have to get used to the straight-line twitchiness. Should be great for my upcoming track days.

While I was out I came up on a super clean, facelift E39 sport. As I was approaching I started to give them a thumbs up (as I always do to cars I like) and realized the driver and his wife/GF were both already giving me a thumbs up. I always love little moments like that between fellow car people.

As an early Father’s Day gift I’ll be spending the rest of the weekend giving my dad’s E60 some much-needed love.
