What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

    Old Plugs look great!
I'm on my third alcantara boot. They do seem to fade quick and it's seems to be mostly on the passenger side so the wife is probably seeing that all the time

This one's not bad at all. I'm sure you probably get intense southern sun all year too where we rarely get scorching sun up here in the Northeast at all (and no sun at all when our convertibles spend 5-6 months in winter storage)

Actually went through two of them while living in NJ. I tend to grab the shifter knob from the side do that could have something to do with it

Daytona - what's the part number of the newer style center caps? Just curious. I'm not seeing the difference between the ones on my 05 ZHP or 02 745i that look just like your picture

36136783536 - wheel center cap with chrome ring - that's the update - the "chrome" on the circumference. Older style were gray on the outer edge.

Thanks John. For my car, 36136783536 is the current part number RealOEM lists but it started availability 5/01/07. It only shows one other, a stamped/painted cap 36136767547 as the superseded one. That one ended on 11/08/2006. Assume that would have been the older style which we must have on our cars

    Here’s a good side-by-side:

It makes a huge difference, IMO, especially if you don’t have silver wheels anymore.

That is only the roundel emblem without the center cap - you could glue that over or in place of the center cap original emblem.

Thanks for showing the difference. Mine are definitely the old ones. Time for an upgrade!
