im very jealous of your 135i front brakes. i wanted those despite everyone saying how bad for track performance they are with melting various things etc...... they just look amazing and BMW wouldnt have put them on a stock car if they knew/thought they would have consistent issues just for street driving.

they cost $1600+ for fronts only and was way out of my budget :/

I mean it would only make sense. Spenser is actually tracking his car and Shawn is after the ultimate OE+ street build.

Mine are set up for the 330 hubs. Unfortunately I don’t think the 135s are compatible with the M3 axles which Shawn has converted to.

Would be nice, though. There are more track pad options available for the 996s.

yea if there was a way for a straight trade that would be awesome but its not looking like it. im pretty sure the rears would just fit on mine and clear my dust shield since I have M3 dust shields... but the fronts i have no idea...

all i know is my fronts are M3 hubs and my 996 come with the adapter brackets that bolt to the M3 hubs and are meant to work with the CSL/ZCP floating rotors which i have front and rear.

I have trimmed my rear dust shields almost completely off. Using M3 rotors on the 330 hubs (people are creative as hell, and I’m thankful for it).

And the CSL/ZCP rotors are the biggest drawback to the 996s for me. I think there is a bracket adapter to use non-CSL rotors, but I’m not positive.

I just really like being able to share the S54 with my older friends. Sometimes fun comes in 4s but it’s a bit challenging for some to get in and out of a rear seat in a coupe so I choose to borrow the 540i or Sienna for pure convenience and so no one pulls a muscle. LOL. This doesn’t happen frequently but it does happen and those are the times I wish I had four doors for easy access to S54 fun.

Well, no today, but yesterday..... washed the car again, and ordered Redish Motorsports rear subframe reinforcements, CSB and flex disc, and OE Lemforder front control arms. Already have pretty much everything to get the suspension ready for the track. I lost my prepped S2000 in a hurricane almost a year ago, so I decided it was about time to pay some attention to the 330. All that'll really be left suspension wise is to get rid of the BC coils, and switch to a more appropriate damper.

What suspension are you replacing the BCs with?
