I know that but I was wondering if he found a way to make it not spill over...

Two new rear tires last week. Continental DWS. The Continental DWS replaced had 13K miles and 5/32" tread remaining. It had recently passed inspection. I replaced them because of hydroplaning a couple of times and lighting up the dash lights on rutted interstates when raining. I had to hold it down below 55 mph or else it broke lose a bit and lit up the dash lights. I kept 39 psi in the rears so it was not a case of low inflation. Now steady as a rock in the rain with the new rear tires.

For DD, I haven’t heard of anything. For track days, I’ve heard guys stretch a rubber glove over it. Keeps the splatter contained.

Or a sock, but I might try a rubber glove out this weekend.

I swear no matter what they all seem to seep.

In other news - Installed a full set of DEPO clears with stealth turn signal bulbs. Fitment is good with everything except the sidemarkers which don't sit perfectly flush against the fenders. OEM look like their trimmed with a rubber gasket against the edges to fill the gap where the DEPO's are not. Close enough for now though.

Seen one, you seen 'em all but here's a pic

Put on the Arc-8s/RS4s, bled brakes, topped off fluids, and gave a quick wash for another weekend of doing Racecar Shit [TM] in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Virginia.

Still need to run a cold start test to confirm my CEL is coming from the SAP/EGR check valve. Stupid emissions crap.

But it’s impossible to tire of seeing a clean TiAg ZHP with Arc-8s, so keep posting.

Changed a brake pressure sensor. Surprisingly easy due to being right hand drive. Required no disassembly aside from removing the old sensor. Lost very little brake fluid.

Noticed my KWV1s appear to be misting or weeping on the front shocks. Not sure which direction to go now. My local supplier has offered me bilstein coils at a discounted rate which is an option I'd be willing to consider. All I'd have to change would be the rear springs/perches. Or...

Fortune Auto, MCA, KWV2s, BC, H&R, Eibach. I don't know. My body leans towards bilstein, since my neighbour works for Bilstein Asia Pacific.
