    It was a promotion my local BMW dealership was running. My father got an email from a service guy saying to come through and they'll replace the wipers for free and do a recall check. This is very likely in the hopes of drumming up extra business. I just showed up and asked, but I would guess this was a dealer-specific promotion.

    Our dealer in Charlotte offers it (or used to at least) if you’re having other service done, but only if you have the OE style wipers because all they’re replacing is the rubber inserts.

    They replaced mine with the euro wipers like previously had on.
