    Stencil drawn and shoes cut.

Thanks for proving this out. Seemed so simple in theory and you made it look simple in practice.

Finally got my transmission plugs in the mail. Fixed them up last night, put in Redline D4 ATF and bam the clutch rattle from the twin plate is dampened, shifts are smoother. Should have used it over Royal Purple Synchromax from the get go.

Car's being dropped off at a shop tomorrow for all the rear suspension bushings to be done. Tools vs labour is cheaper on the labour end for me so I save effort.

Since I'm soooo outpaced by Civic SI's in GS, no use in buying the 71rs. Tough to get a full season out of them. Interested to feel a difference in the two.

RS4s are awesome. They wear like iron, and it takes a lot to get them greasy. They may not be as competitive in autocross because they won’t heat up as quickly as 71Rs/other 200TWs, but their grip and durability make them the absolute best track day tire unless you just shit out money.

Oh yeah I know. I just mainly autox. But who knows. With this, I may just have to hit up more track days!

That was what I ended up doing but the trailing arm is trashed.

I actually heavily considered RS4s to step up from the Indy 500s while maintaining actual tread life, but since pretty much every motorsports event is cancelled I figured I should just stick to what I'm used to. Did you have RS4s? You have Pilot Sports now right? How do they compare?

I can tell you from 2nd hand experience the wet traction is Horrible in comparison to the Indy's and PSS's. It's a 200tw tire. Rarely are they good in the wet.

I never did any performance driving on the PSS, just pushing hard on cloverleaf ramps and backroads. The RS4s only get put on for track events—I picked up a nail and had to replace a tire, won’t risk doing it again since I won’t take a plugged tire on the track. I’m replacing the PSS with Indy 500s for the daily wheels.

They were fine on the track when I had some wet sessions but I wouldn’t want to daily them in warm months. Especially with the kind of rain we get from summer storms in the Carolinas.

I’m looking forward to trying them out. I talked my buddy into putting a set on his 370Z (because a staggered set of 275/305R19 PS4S would’ve cost him a small fortune), and they felt just as good as the S-04 Pole Positions he had on it before.
