I forgot the 335d has a 1/4 second of turbo lag. So I wasn’t able to get the rear tire far enough from a curb while cornering hard. Usually in an NA engine it’s a given. When I push throttle hard, the rear goes wide by a small amount but not if you have turbo lag throttle response. LOL

Hey Y'all, been a super long time since I stopped by. I sincerely hope everyone is making it through 2020 without issue.

For the uninitiated, I'm in a 2017 Golf Sportwagon w/ 4motion (AWD) which came with a 1.8L turbo charged engine and a 6 speed manual transmission. From the factory the car was rated at 180hp/199ft-lbs.

Well here she is on the dyno yesterday and as the sheet suggests it's making over 400hp and 375ft-lbs at the wheels! I was absolutely floored that my little engine was making bigger numbers than the GTIs and Golf RS that showed up that day. Granted, I have a lot of supporting modifications to make this happen, but a lot of the cars yesterday had similar set-ups.

    Hope Y'all are well!

    Thanks!

It has almost $20k in parts and labor. I have a little list of mods for anyone interested.

United Motorsport tuned with ProFlex enabled.
Precision Raceworks 925cc Multi Port Injection kit (So I have 4 direct injectors and 4 port injectors; the latter handles the majority of fueling needs)
    525lph Walbro LPFP
Nik's big ass intake pictured below; a 3.5inch aluminum intake with a 9"x6" filter
DBV2 V1 Journal Bearing hybrid turbo
IE FDS Intercooler; mounts in the stock location sandwiched between the AC condenser and the radiator
    Revo 3" Catted Downpipe
    AWE Track Exhaust
Black Forest Industries stage 1 engine and trans mounts
    034 Pendulum mount inserts
    APR spherical pendulum arm
South Bend Stage 2 Endurance SMF clutch kit
    CTS Turbo Short shifter
    Porsche 996 front brake calipers
    Mercedes C320 sport rotors
    Neuspeed RSE10s 18x8 et45
    Michelin PS4S 225/40/18

    That's it performance wise.

I have GTI interior and want a new GTI steering wheel since the stock one is torn to bits (Base model quality leather)
