Just keep in mind that some of the sedan/coupe hitches may not fit a touring, while others will. The Witter and Brink hitches I believe are the same, but the Westfalia hitch is different. This is because the touring has a small hump for the hatch lock in the sheet metal under the bumper, whereas the coupes and sedans do not.

Last year I bought two F30 model cars from a German seller. He shipped via DHL but I never received the package (tracking # showed box was delivered to my address). I notified the seller and he said " I will report to DHL ". I assumed my money was lost : the issue was outside of seller's control. But he followed up with DHL until they refunded the money. It was a nice surprise to see the money back on my PayPal account.

Yeah, this is always why I pay via PayPal - as a buyer you're pretty much guaranteed to get your money back. I suspect this seller just didn't want to bother with the hassle of shipping to Canada. Just seems odd how he actually went out and got a quote of 110 Euros for the shipping cost, it was via DHL as well. Although I did get a full refund I'm out like $15 because of PayPal's worse conversion rates from USD to EUR and back... oh well. Gave the seller a neutral review since I still wanted the item, but he did refund me fairly quickly.

Hopefully second (not third) time's the charm. Bought a new Witter swan neck tow bar from PF Jones out of the UK. Unfortunately it's shipping via UPS, gonna have a fun time dealing with their BS brokerage fees

I purchased a new magnetic phone mount because my WizGear phone mount is not keeping my phone at the angle I want so it's time to swap the phone mounts in my search for the right mount.

This time I'm going with with the Syncwire Magnetic Phone mount.

Botond has this in his touring and it seems solidly built so I ordered three of these, one for each BMW and one for my Porsche

My first ever CEL in 6 years, ever since I bought the car... something is up with the SAP.

God dammit, such bad timing. Moving from a place that doesn't do emissions testing, to a place that does. So I actually have to care about this and not just delete it

I mean, you could just delete it with a tune. No CEL = no problem!

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

From the little reading I've done, it won't pass in California since it'll still indicate a monitor not being set. I'll have to do more research but I'd love it if that was the case!

If it's coded out, it won't look for it. Can't expect a car to pass a monitor it "doesn't have", amiright?

As far as I know there is no way to get rid of the readiness monitors of the SAP on MS45. There will always be at least one showing not ready. Same reason why I haven't removed mine either yet.

What's the code? If you can, go grab a salmon relay from the junkyard and replace yours. If you're lucky that will fix it.
