Rebuilt the shifter, installed a BMW Performance SSK, new transmission mount and guibo. Tomorrow will another productive day.

Given the prices of the MSport brake duct, I won't be doing that unless I can find a cheap spare.

I hope that Meyle HD giubo holds up for you - their quality has been declining over the past 5 or more years.

I hope so as well. This is my first Meyle product. Fcpeuro options were limited at the time I ordered it. I usually buy Lemforder products.

This is nice. I did exactly the same thing 2 years ago and love it. It is so nice to shift gears with brand new shifter and hardware.

I'm looking forward to driving! I hope it smoothens the shifting.

Day two: rear sway bar refresh (end links and bushings,) center support bearing, clean the differential (a leak lead to build up of gunk,) and sealed the diff cover with Permatex (hope it works!)

Tomorrow: refill the diff with fuilds and enjoy a drive!

Let Permatex cure for 24 hours and took her for a ride. I'm really liking the short shifter. Feel more appropriate for the ZHP. Rebuilding the shifter did not solve the notchy shifts into 1st and 2nd. Are ZHPs notchy?

The Permatex held up well. No leaks noted. Time will tell if holds up. I can update anyone interested, just let me know.

I replaced my license plate bulbs and found out that the housing on one is so corroded that it no longer works, even after trying to clean it with alcohol. The plastic cover fell off at some point. Ohwell.

I then swapped my cabin filter because clean air makes me happy.
