It was about $1.35 per liter in CAD currency when I was there.
    $1.35 per liter x ~3.79 = ~$5.12 CAD = $4.67 USD...

Currently C$1.63 at the Shell near my house.

91 octane very rarely goes under $1.44 these days and that's only in the dead of the winter when people are afraid to drive lol.

    currently it's ~$1.47/L for 91 octane in ontario where i live (it's more expensive where alex lives!). $1.47 x 3.79 = $5.55CAD/gal

    $5.55CAD = $5.06USD at today's exchange rate.

doesn't matter much; it sucks either way!

There's an additional tax in the greater Montreal area to subsidize public transport. Still never less than $1.40ish though.

Same in Vancouver. TransLink has its hands in your pockets in several different ways, gas tax being one of them.

I can't believe I'm doing this again. The CF shell has surface defects in it. So far Turner has been great, even sending another set to swap out so I don't have to wait for the replacement with my door in pieces.

Ugh. Every time you take them apart it is another chance to break the ribbon. I broke one and increased the cost of the project by $200 because of a slip of my hand.
