John, does it really matter if other's don't "approve" your decision of who will paint your car? Like Shawn said....your car, your wallet. As long as you're pleased with the result, that's what matters. Looking forward to pics when you have everything complete!

Waiting on my ride to come get me from Maaco. $1652 for base coat clear coat (door jambs included) with body work and 5 year warranty. They are going to patch a hole in the rear lower valence with a piece I cut off another e30 and pull a dent out of the rear quarter panel. Car has 98 percent of the trim including the spoiler off of it, which they will paint separate. IMOLA 405 is the paint I'm going with. Should be ready mid next week.
