Here's my '87 after water pump belt broke last spring. Ended up a blessing in disguise as it ultimately exposed a defective timing belt tensioner. Has been in my immediate family since new. Aluminum diving board bumpers and all.
OP: How long have you had the IE exhaust and how was fitment / installation?

Fitment was good, just make sure engine and tranny mounts are good. Ive had it for at least 6 years maybe even 8 years, and I love it.Here's my '87 after water pump belt broke last spring. I fixed my neglected windshield washing system with a good pump/tank/level sensor combo for a total purchase price of five dollars. I mixed half tank with hot water and windshield washer fluid and at first only the right side was shooting but the hot fluid cleaned the left out and it works great now.
I can cross this off my list and consider it one step closer to getting new white paint.

Re E30 windshield washer jets, if the right side seems clogged, check out the T-fitting in the middle of the hood, between the 2 jets and under the noise / heat insulation. With time, the plastic deteriorates and leaks.
