I found an old rubber UUC clutch stop and threw it in but it was way too big to be able to start the car. Driving tonight, I noticed that I could hear the clutch switch clicking with the pedal almost fully depressed. Maybe 1/2in off the floor at best. So did you guys (1) bypass the switch for startup, (2) add a spacer to the switch contact, or (3) not have an issue with it?

That's an interesting question. I have my switch disabled in software.
(3) not have an issue with it for me. I did have to adjust the height a tad to get it just low enough to start the car.
