    Cheers.
Delaware Valley SCCA Chapter is the one that is closest to me, I'm in South Jersey very close to Philly. I will be sitting this season out though due to my current condition, but I've met quite a few BMW owners that speak very highly of the group.

Car and I survived 2 days at Buttonwillow running 13CCW. My first time running that direction in the dry (ran 1CCW in the wet 1.5 years ago, which is almost the same config). Had two instructors, both drive '88 Mustangs (one races, other does time trial)--both very helpful. I think I got a little faster. Here's a picture of my Saturday instructor in his Mustang.

Will post links to photos of my car in the track photos/videos thread. Haven't had time to upload cockpit video.

Undecided still. I'm thinking of either Turners or H&R full F+R.

I did okay, got a little faster but still a slow learner. I am faster than most of the HPDE1 folks but not all. There are a few guys with 1/4th the experience (number of track days) in HPDE 1 or 2 who drive as fast or faster than I do.

NASA packs a tight schedule with HPDE, races, a 3-hour enduro Saturday evening, etc. You can see the weekend schedule here. They get people on and off the track very efficiently, but HPDE also gets only 20-minute sessions (one 25-min session on Sunday). Still much less expensive than running with BMW CCA.

Two photos of my car from VanHap, the Track Photographer.

would look even better if I had a LSD.... or an E46 M3 rear end swap! Actually might not look that different going around corners, but would perform better. Looking forward to hearing from how much better!
