What are the benefits/cons to the two different kits that you listed or does it come down to mostly personal preference?

Also is it better to wax or use a sealant?
    what color is your car?

light colored cars benefit from the look of a sealant and darker color cars benefit from waxes.

as well sealants will outlast many of the waxes out there.
for the work I do I tend to use Menzerna and Sonax products.

we can build a kit towards your needs.

There arent currently any imperfections that can be seen with the naked eye

Do you use a buffer to apply regular wax?

    You can.

I only use the buffer to apply liquid wax, for paste wax I apply by hand. So it depends on what wax you have. I hear some people can use paster wax on a buffer.

it would depend on which wax or sealant you would decide to use.

if its a liquid we usually apply by machine. if its a paste by hand.

I have just bought a black car for the first time. I need some help on putting together a detailing kit. I want to spend $100 or less. I will never spend 12 hours detailing the car, so i need a good wash and wax/polish that will work well with a black car. Also will need some sonax for the wheels. Can you put something together for me? Feel free to pm me if need be. I am a rookie at true detailing, and this black car is really throwing me a curve. And thanks in advance!

    congrats on the new car.

do you already have the basics, grit guard, bucket, wash mitt, car wash? microfiber towels?

$100 may not be enough if you don't have those items above.
