Lol autotragic
Yeah....a lot of people here have Auto's. I've said this more than once, but the negative, insensitive "Auto" comments need to stop.
It's unnecessary and not nutritional at all.
Thanks

Where is the line drawn? Personally I see nothing wrong with "shame about the transmission" because anyone could also say "shame about the color" when the implied message is "it's not my cup o tea." "Autotragic" is another story.

Autotragic is a common term when referenced to auto's. However I didn't point it at any specific individual.
If somebody that owns an auto felt like my statement was bashing on them, then I apologize.
Not into drawing lines, or debating this in public. I just want members here to be reminded that we have all types of owners here. That's all.

Although i never thought i would say it, have no problem with the auto. A few years ago I attempted (unsuccessfully) to introduce wifey to our little world of the BMW. She does not drive the broom stick, so I thought I would get her a cool little auto e36 convertible. I found a 1995 325i Montreal Blau on Blau vert here on Long Island. I had a blast redoing almost everything--all fluid change, vanos refresh, plugs, power steering system replace, coolant system replace, air condition system rebuild, rotors, brakes, struts, shocks, end links, fuel filter, battery, vcg, icv and MAF clean etc. Well wifey just never grasped the whole BMW thing. She thinks it's cool that I am a BMW lunitic but she is just not into it. She loves her 2003 Land Rover. Anyway, I started driving this heavy piggish auto vert and a funny thing happened. I started really enjoying it. It is a beautiful looking car that always turns heads. Drives tight and chicks dig it--don't tell wifey I said that.
