    lower springs

    hey guys my zhp has factory ride height am thinking of installing short springs since a like really low rides. what do u think are good after market short springs?

    If you are going with shorter springs it will kill your shocks. Almost always best to go coilover and do both at once. I think Dane has these if I remember http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330...vers/ES248295/ i could be wrong. He will chime in.

    Yup, I agree that short springs will also shorten the life of your shocks. Just buy a set of coilovers and be done with it.

    Buy nice or buy it twice.


    My car has KW V2 coilovers and I absolutely love them.

    +1 on the KWs. I was not sure about budget for the OP but this is the route I will be taking when it is time for new shocks. I will just clean it all up with those.

    ohh ok thank u guys btw by installing those coilovers will the car be stiff on bumps or soft?

    With the KW V2 coilovers you can adjust not only ride height but also adjust the rebound damping.

    You can do that with my setup as well. Do the KW's carry a lifetime guarentee?

    Also, no problem using these in harsh climates.
