    Pillar felt peeling off

So, the black felt on a couple of my pillars is peeling off. One actually would have came all the way off already if it weren't for the cabin light holding it on. Anyone know of an easy fix? Some kind of product to spray on that will stay and wont seep through and stain? I was thinking some 3M scotch spray adhesive, but im afraid that the glue will seep through. Any advise helps. Thanks!

    Pillar felt peeling off

3M #70 is the common practice but it only lasts so long. New A-pillars are about $40 each, I'm just gonna buy new ones for mine

edit: I think you're actually talking about the c-pillar if the light is holding it in, not sure how much those ones cost

Does the heat/sun in the summer loosen it or something? Might just have to get new ones then, because that's not something I'd like to keep dealing with.

I'll be trying the spray adhesive first myself. If I get a year out of it at a time, I'm a-ok with that.

Yes, I do believe that it is partially caused by the warmer temps/heat building up inside a closed car in the summer/southern sun. I hate to say this, but I am on the fourth set of A-pillar trim in my E36 from '97, and second in the ZHP. It's a Bimmer thing!

~$80-85 per A Pillar for a sedan. Eek!

I'll be refurbishing like Nivo as long as it lasts for a while.
