    Cleaning exhaust tips

Hey guys so I have a magnaflow on my car and the chrome tips get black residue baked onto them and I'm having trouble getting it off. I've used degreasers and such with minimal luck. They still have the black residue on them.

What do you all use to clean chrome exhaust tips?

Chris, I've had the same issue with my Magnaflow. I use a kitchen stainless steel cleaner that I found around my house. It works pretty good. Those tips look awesome cleaned up.

Monkey posted something he uses a while back. I don't remember the name, but I think it came in a blue container about the size of a wax container. I remember seeing it at advance auto parts.

Blue Magic metal polish. It can be picked up at local AutoZone, Oreilly, etc.

Works pretty well with #0000 steel wool.

Nevr-Dull has never let me down, even removes tar spots. Been using it or years on all chrome/metal.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I use this already to polish them. I'll try some stainless cleaner though. That may do it.
