    Help Meee

    Hey guys,
I'm picking up wheels next weekend and I have two (maybe 3) choices. All of them are Miro 111's that we all know and love so much, but I'm stuck on sizing. I'm staying 18s, no question. But! I found a squared set of the rears for sale (18x9.5 et40), the regular staggered set for sale (18x8.5 et35/18x9.5 et40), ORRRRR I could order a new set which would give me some sizing options. 18x8.5 et35/25/22 up front, or 18x9.5 et40/22 in the rear.

Clearly, the rears don't need the lower offset, the et40 on a 9.5 is pretty aggressive. Should I square the fronts, go with the regular et35, or go with the et25 to ALMOST match the concavity of the rears?

I'm in an 05 vert, Broadway Static coilovers, about an iPhone off the ground as of right now. I need to raise it up a little bit, and be able to fit at LEAST a 235 tire in there. I don't want to sacrifice performance for a stance, but find a happy medium. I've read through all of our stickies looking at sizes, and didn't see any in there.

That said, I know there are some sedans running the square set up, so with some camber and a wee bit of stretch, can my vert fit it as well?

    Thanks in advance, fellas.

IMO, 9.5 is too wide; a 265/35 tire fits a 9.5" rim well, & that'd be really aggressive for fronts. Out of those options, I'd personally go for an 8.5 et 35 square setup.

I thought that at first as well. That would be four "fronts." I know the Miro staggered set was made to fit our cars, so I know the 9.5 will fit in the back. The 8.5 et35's aren't all that agressive, which is surprising given the numbers.

I searched around and dug this up on E46F.com:

Some of our members are in there as well. I see the square set up on Brandon's car, but I don't think he's quite as low as I am at the moment. I can't find any pictures of the 8.5 et25 just for a reference..

Thanks for the input, Crickett! That's definitely one of my options still.

I am not a fan at all of the 18x8.5 et 35.

Go more aggressive so my vote is 18x8.5 et22 and 18x9.5 et22.

8.5" ET 35 will fit very well in the rear, and what I bolded.. the 9.5" ET22, won't even be close to fitting in the rear.

My vote is the 18x8.5 et35/18x9.5 et40 combo. It will fit nicely, but will probably require a fender roll in the back.

18x9.5 et 22 will fit with a fender roll and a slight pull if needed. I know a guy that is running this exact setup which is basically m3 size.

Yeah, there's a few guys over on e46f with similar set-ups and they have constant problems with the set-up. You need a lot of camber and stretched tires to do it.

If you are after proper fitment, that's what you do.

Rolled fenders and stretched tires plus dial in the negative camber and there will be no issues.

yea except that sacrifices performance. which is something he doesn't want to do. i thought fitting 18x9.5 et35 on my car was hard already. no way i would do et22 lol
