    Front corner turn signal sockets

    Greetings All:

So I have an odd question. Anyone ever have a problem getting a pair of replacement sockets for their front turn signals which fit the OEM AL clear corners that take bulb style 7507 (with the offset pins)? I am on my second set of replacement sockets (first pair not fitting/locking in place), and while this pair does fit each side, they are designed to take blub style 1156. Normally I would just change the bulb, but I was trying to keep the continuity with the rear lights the same, as they take style 7507 bulbs.

    Sockets that I have:
    Left: 63136943121
    Right: 63136943122

Here are a few pics. Socket on the left (brown) is the one in the car. White one is the replacement. Let me know if any of you have had this issue before. Thanks for any help!

So I had a talk with my parts guy at BMW about this before. Pretty much BMW only sells the 180 degree contact which is the 1156 type of bulb. The one on the left has a 150 degree contact which is the 7507 type of bulb. I reference this with the following link. Not sure why they don't really offer the one on the left.

I would say the best thing to do is to replace the bulbs themselves.

Did some research and found 2 other PN's - 63136914121 (left) and 63136914122 (right). Might wanna check if these two accept 7507 bulbs.

I was thinking that I may be headed down this road if no other option was available. I was just trying to keep one style bulb in both front and rear, esp. in light of the fact that they are clears with the silver bulbs that I have gotten from Khoalty.

Awesome, thanks for the help! I will have to see if I can find any info on these part numbers to see if they may work.
