Heh, This thread reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa gets gum in her hair and the whole town starts appearing with more and more wild ideas on how to get it out of her hair. I couldnt find an online clip though

Oh dear lord I think Dane's suggestion may be the most justifiable overkill I've contended with.
Gonna try the 'goo gone' route, and see where that gets me. Thanks for the tips, guys!

GooGone should work. I've always used peanut butter to get gum out of hair. The oils break the gum down.

SUCCESS!
I ended up using WD-40, because I found a great little product at work: they make a pen applicator WD-40 stick! It's like a firm tip highlighter. I was able to apply a little bit of the magic juice to the bad spot, then use the tip to flake/scrub the gum right off. Worked like a freaking charm! In about five minutes and two paper towels,
I went from this:

RAD. Thanks for the tips, all!

Yeah, that's left bolster is the one place where Echo shows her age. Everywhere else the leather's spotless.
I wanted full leather from the beginning when I was looking for my car; my buddy had the leather/alcantara in his ZHP and something about it just looked "economy" instead of "race-inspired". But his interior was a different color, and I'm kinda wishing now that I had it in mine... maybe in black it'd have been sexier.
Haha! That's great.
