I like the lettering on them. Sucker for the visual aesthetics. I also like the fact a lot of people aren't using them like some other styles. I may just go for those. I need more data on durability of these lightweight rims though.
Do you guys know of any other sites (other than tirerack) that offer a good selection of wheel and tire packages?

Since Tire Rack is one of the ad sponsors here, I'd just buy from them so the site could benefit.
True dat.....no one can prolly beat their price by much anyhow.

When I got mine, I got mine with brand new tires already mounted (Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's), so I drove on them for about a week to "break them in". After hitting numerous potholes the size of Alaska, I can safely say that my wheels survived. They have since been retired to their intended use: the track.
For the street, I would go for a more heavy-duty wheel than a light one though. If I hit some potholes with the Kosei in say, New York City, I would probably be crying my eyes out as we speak having to shell out $$ for a whole new set. If you want lightweight AND heavy duty, get forged wheels. Just be prepared to pay big bux for those.

I really like the Forgestars but that is just me, as you can tell, cause I am looking at a similar design.
