UG now has an OBD-II BlueTooth adapter and apps (iOS/Android):
    http://ultra-gauge.com/blue.htm

And the UG EM Plus is now on sale: $70

I am trying to decide which way to go. I think I like my phone to remain dedicated to normal phone stuff, and not having to jump from app to app (task to task) and just have the UG completely separate....

    What do you guys think?

Nope. We already have a display. This would take resources on phone all the time.

Let a phone stay a phone.

Now I just gotta spend some time with the manual figuring out what all the different gauge options mean and which ones I want.

I had my car into the shop just two weeks ago and they said there was no codes. But when I hook up my ultragauge, its telling me I've got a code P0461. According to this website http://www.cardiffspecialists.co.uk/...W/Default.aspx , this code has something to do with the fuel level sensor. This makes sense as my fuel gauge went wonky about 6 months after I bought the car. I have to rely on the trip meter to know when to put gas in the car.

The other interesting thing is that on the initial hook up the Ultragauge detected one protocol, but every other time its detected the 9141 Protocol. Is this the same one that everybody else is getting?
    Ever sort out the p0461?
Popped up on my car along with small vacuum leak codes.

That was a long time ago, and the car has mostly been parked for over a year now due to my back problems (manual, so clutching irritates things), so I don't recall what the outcome was.

Yes, very awesome on many fronts. Having live pending codes is great. I bought mine because my temp gauge is lazy sometimes. Second by second readings are very valuable.

Bought mine a few years ago and still works great. I love the fact you can set audible alarms on any item being monitored. I have a high coolant temp alarm set which is nice when my wife is driving my car.
