    I reset mine every fillup.

    I sometimes do it at fill up and I sometimes will change it if I drive the interstate to work at 75 and reset on the way home on a 55mph side road or sometimes if I'm driving in city traffic. The differences you see can vary greatly.

    Mine gets reset only when the car battery is replaced. LOL. On a serious note, I did reset it one time in the past 3 years (I bought my car in 2010).

    i usually reset it before road trips where i want to compare highway MPG to city driving.

    but if i'm not traveling, i typically never reset it. i know the car gets roughly 20mpg in everyday driving.

    I do every tank or if I'm doing a long trip I reset it before the trip and let it run for however many tanks the trip takes.

    I reset once a month, my ZHP was getting 19 average with my lead foot.
