    Rear Diffuser Sun Stained

So I'll be giving my car a thorough detailing this week, but the rear diffuser is sun stained (it cannot be wiped off or repaired). My wallet is running on fumes so there's no spending $100 on a new diffuser - Would it look good/last if I removed it and plasti-dipped it?

Do what I did. Remove it and paint it. Cost is about 20 dollars.

People have plastidipped it with good results. You can paint. You might be able to use Mother's Back to Black, but don't quote me on that. Either way, the differences will probably be negligible. Do whichever you feel like doing, but do it right, and you'll be good.

Back to black looks good but won't last past a car wash or two, at least from my experience.

Back to black is what I use. Enemy is right though it doesn't last forever. I can usually go about a month before it needs another application but it doesn't take too long to apply and has just become part of my routine.

I have a spare. Mine too has some marks on it, not sure if its worse/better than yours... But after replacing mine, its easy to remove and paint if you choose to do so.

The majority speaks - paint it is. What kind of paint should I use? I think I'm gonna buy some back to black anyway for my trim.

This looks like a decent DIY. I've never done it, so I can't speak for how good his DIY is, but it seems legit.

Maybe someone has something to add?
