Ok so my car had some stuttering and replacing one coil fixed that.

Now it is doing it again, and I am assuming it is another coil, so I am getting all 5 replaced as many suggested anyways.

However, it seems a similar symptom can be caused by a failing disa valve.

1. Car has over 160k, some say the downside of having a disa fail is so great, replace it after 100k... so I am thinking when my mech comes to do my shocks, I should have him do the disa as well, since it is pretty cheap, risk reward seems no brainer?

2. We know what can happen if disa fails, but is there any egregious damage a failed coil can do to your car if not replaced promptly?
