My primary background is not electrical... so I can't comment directly on the 2 ohm v 4 ohm thing. With my other setups, I was completely rewiring system and did not have to interface with a stock amplifier or head unit.

That would be alot easier for me also. I've done many stereo installs back in my high school days. Thanks...
