What's the best tire for the price right now?

Hey all, looks like my tires are "cupped" per the stealership. They want 1 MEEELION dollars for new tires so I'm going to look elsewhere. I've been out of the game for so long now that I have no idea who makes good tires.

Any ideas for a decent tire at a good price? Not looking for something super sticky, but don't want to give up too much in the way of performance.

Also, is there anyone reputable online selling wheel/tire packages that aren't like $2k?
I think I *may* also have a bent rim so I might just take this opportunity to go with those Alzor BBS LM style wheels or maybe some Gunmetal VMR 710's.

    Any thoughts on that?

We have plenty of threads and opinions on good tires. Michelin PSS, Kuhmo, Continental... check the tire section for details. We have tire dealers as affiliates on our site. Not sure if Tire Rack still is, but they are always worth checking. As for wheel combos, not sure about that one. Good luck with your search. Also, a big part of the decision is type of driving and climate, that will help with the suggestions.

I really like the look of the VMRs. GLWSearch!

Lol. Yup, TONS of opinions. We really should narrow some of that down, as there are so many.

Bridgestone Potenza S04 are great tires. Not too expensive. Very good performance.

^ Thanks, I'll check that out. The few places I've called have all endorsed the Mich. Pilot Sport, A/S 3. I can get all 4 mounted and balanced for about $900. Didn't want to spend that much but I also don't want to skimp on tires.

Also, if your tires are cupped you might need new shocks, don't be letting a new set go to waste by riding on shot shocks
